Videos from three television commercials for Grapes from California, part of a California Table Grape Commission campaign on the Food Network, have been posted to the commission’s YouTube channel.
The settings for the 30-second spots are a family dinner; a dinner party; and a vineyard, where a grower discusses the fruit’s uses. Each ends by pointing viewers to the commission’s recipe web page.
The campaign began in June and was expected to feature six commercials by December, with continuing appearances after that. They have appeared during such shows as “Trisha Yearwood’s Southern Kitchen,” “Sandra’s Money Saving Meals,” “Home for Dinner with Jamie Deen,” and “Diners, Drive-ins & Dives.”
“These commercials showcase the natural beauty, easy versatility and great taste of California grapes while communicating the value of sharing life’s special moments with family and friends, and the care that growers put into growing,” Kathleen Nave, president of the Fresno-based California Table Grape Commission, said at the start of the campaign.
