USDA-APHIS opens new plant inspection station at Miami

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has opened a new plant inspection station in Miami.

The $25 million state-of-the-art facility will help absorb some of the overflow of inspections of imported propagative plant material created at the nation's busiest port.

About 78 percent of all plant material imported into the United States comes through Miami.
