Report: Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta shows extensive damage

A 52-page report released earlier this week by the Delta Stewardship Council shows the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta is so far gone that even billions of dollars may not restore ailing fish populations.

The report also says the state's total water supply is oversubscribed.

The document is the first of seven to be released.
