Lawsuit: Pesticides threaten endangered species

Environmentalists filed suit last week in San Francisco, claiming the U.S. Department of Agriculture failed to protect wildlife through consultation with the Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service when it reregistered pesticides.

The Tucson, Ariz.-based Center for Biological Diversity contend the EPA violated the Endangered Species Act.
