Florida governor seeks disaster declaration

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist has asked U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to declare 35 of the state's 67 counties as disaster areas because of recent freezes.

Among the eligible commodities are citrus, tropical fish, tomatoes and nursery crops.
