Fewer potatoes in storage bodes well for Idaho growers

The number of potateos being held in Idaho storage is the lowest since 1989, which bodes well for grower prices.

In fact, there are 14.5 million hundredweights fewer this February compared to the same time last year.

Growers credit increased demand with growers being better able to estimate supply for the firmer prices.
