The Environmental Protection Agency has registered Declare Insecticide from Cheminova Inc. for use on wide range of crops, including stone fruit, tree nuts and vegetables.

Although some states also have registered it, others are pending.

It contains the active ingredient gamma-cyhalothrin.

The pyrethroid from the Research Triangle Park, N.C.-based firm targets a broad spectrum of pests, including aphids, beetles, stinkbugs and worms, according to a news release.

Declare comes in a capsule suspension water-based formulation and can be tankmixed with a wide array of other insecticides.
