Cold winter weather should keep down Stewart's wilt in corn

Corn growers should expect a low probability of corn flea beetle activity and the Stewart's wilt disease it vectors throughout most of Indiana, and only moderate activity in the Ohio River Valley.

That's the prediction from Purdue University, based on the average daily temperatures during December, January and February.
