Amvac Chemical Corp. of Newport Beach, Calif., has acquired two active ingredients from Bayer CropScience—ethoprophos, sold under the brand name Mocap, and fenamiphos, sold as Nemacur.

The deal includes registrations and data rights, rights to manufacturing and know-how, inventories, the Ultima packaging system and trademarks, according to a news release.

Mocap and Nemacur are both soil insecticides that control nematodes. In addition, Nemacur controls several above-ground sucking insects.
