California honors 8 IPM innovators

The California Department of Pesticide Regulation has recognized eight groups with IPM Innovator awards for their practices in reducing pesticide use.

They include the Central Coast Vineyard Team, Paso Robles; Community Alliance with Family Farmers, Davis; Marrone Bio Innovations, Davis; and Spring Mountain Vineyard, Napa County, according to a news release.

Since the award was established in 1994, more than 100 groups have been recognized.
