The World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif., has announced its Top 10 New Products for the Feb. 12-14 show.
Among them is a global-positioning-system-guided vine planter from Clemens Vineyard Equipment Inc., Woodland, Calif., and a a rig to boost land-leveling efficiency from GK Machine Inc., Donald, Ore., according to a news release.
The planter from Clemens uses RTK GPS signals for planting accuracy within 2 centimeters—less than an inch.
The same GPS technology can be used to plot out a new vineyard.
The Switchblade scraper from GK Machine features an auto transport feature and variable rotation.
At the push of a button, the frame and blade fold in half behind the tractor for travel between fields or orchards.
Two independent lift cylinders move the scraper cutting edge back and forth to adjust the angle of the blade.
