Washington state certifies BiOWiSH fertilizer as organic

BiOWiSH-Crop 3-4-0 from BiOWiSH Technologies of Chicago has been certified organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

For the hydroponic market, the company has BioWiSH-Hydroponic.

The products, which contain a proprietary blend of beneficial microbes and enzymes, improve yield and plant vigor, speed plant decomposition, increase nutrient availability to plants and stimulate mibrobial activity in the soil, according to a company news release.

BiOWiSH-Crop contains an analysis of 3 percent nitrogen, with 2.45 as water-insoluble nitrogen, 0.5 percent as water-insoluble nitrogen and 0.05 percent as ammoniacal nitrogen, according to the product label.

It also contains 4 percent available phosphate derived from soybean meal, protein hydrolysate and dicalcium phosphate, as well as 6 percent humic acids from decomposed plant residues and 1 percent dextrose.
