Known as Florida Food Connect, it is a replacement for Florida Market Maker, according to a news release.
The University of Florida and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services worked together on giving the site a facelift.
They will host a free hour-long Web seminar, June 25, beginning at 10:30 a.m., to walk potential users through the site.
On the site, producers can create a profile with product images and information, including descriptions.
Consumers and buyers can easily search for the nearest producer, by crop or by county. They also can use the site to request products.
