Pale cyst nematode suspected in eastern Idaho potato field

Another potato farm in eastern Idaho is showing signs of the pale cyst nematode.

In 1996, seven farms were confirmed positive with the soil-borne pest and quarantined.

The pale cyst nematode, Globodera pallida, is considered one of a handful of potato cyst nematodes.
