Presidio fungicide from Valent U.S.A. of Walnut Creek, Calif., is now registered for use in drip applications on Brassica, cucurbits, and fruiting and leafy vegetables in New York.

The fungicide, which contains the active ingredient fluopicolide, is active against oomycete pathogens, including downy mildew and Phytophthora blight caused by P. capsici, according to a news release.

In addition to the new application method, Presidio also can be applied through sprinklers or as a foliar treatment.
