Gowan, Isagro ink distribution agreement

Gowan logoIsagro USA and Gowan USA have developed a new agreement where Gowan will take over distribution of some of Isagro's products in the United States.

The arrangement came after Yuma, Ariz.-based Gowan Co. acquired 49 percent of BASJES Holding, the company that controls Milan, Italy-based Isagro S.p.A., according to a news release.

The agreement will become effective Jan. 1.

Initially, the arrangement will include Badge X2, Badge SC, Kentan DF, Mettle, Eminent, Tenet, Siapton and Affiance, which isn't yet registered.

Isagro USA will continue to manage the registration, development and supply chain of all of the parent company's proprietary products as well as the marketing and distribution of Dominus, a recently registered fumigant. In addition, Isagro will continue to market and distribute Assent and Bip-Tam, both biologicals.

Isagro USA also will have global responsibilities for development, registration, marketing, supply chain and commeecialization of Dominus.
