Peter Chaires, a 24-year veteran of the Florida citrus industry, will fill Kinney's position as executive vice president of the trade group, which represents the fresh citrus packing industry, according to a news release.

Chaires also will continue as executive director of the New Varieties Development and Management Corp., which licenses and brings new varieties to the marketplace.
