Did new Georgia immigration law cause labor losses?

The Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association, based in LaGrande, has commissioned a survey of the state's growers to determine the extent of labor shortages during the 2011 harvest.

Growers blame a new state immigration enforcement law similar to Arizona's for scaring away workers and harvest crews.
