Cheminova of Research Triangle Park, N.C., has added several crops, including stone fruit, pome fruit, and sweet and tart cherries, to the label of Topguard fungicide.
The broad-spectrum triazole fungicide contains the active ingredient, flutriafol, according to a news release.
It is a DMI fungicide and belongs to the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee's Group 3.
In apples, it targets scab, powdery mildew, quince rust and cedar apple rust, according to the label.
State label changes are pending, except in California.
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation has yet to register flutriafol, Topguard's active ingredient, according to Cheminova.
