Agricen logoFrisco, Texas-based Advanced Microbial Solutions, or AMS, has changed its name to Agricen to reflect its new relationship with Loveland Products Inc., Loveland, Colo.

Loveland Products became a strategic partner in August 2012, according to a news release.

Agricen offers technologies that increase plant nutrient availability and uptake, improve sustainability and resource use, and increase yields, according to the release.

Agricen currently produces two lines for Loveland Products—Accomplish LM, a catalyst and blend of microbes designed to use with liquid fertilizer and broadcast applications, and Titan PBA, 3-percent nitrogen along with a microbial blend designed for use with dry fertilizers.

Along with the name change came the inauguration of a new state-of-the-art production facility in Denton, Texas.
