Fresh from Florida logoThe Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is co-sponsoring a trade mission to Colombia in September and is taking applications for participation from Florida or Georgia agricultural producers.

The Colombia Outbound Trade Mission will focus on Bogota between Sept. 14-17, according to a news release.

The tour will include one-on-one meetings with pre-screened companies in Colombia that are interested in imports.

It is designed to capitalize on the recent free-trade agreement with the South American country.

The Southern United States Trade Association will reimburse hotel expenses as well as provide up to $500 to send samples. Participants are responsible for their own airfare. SUSTA also will provide translation services.
