John Deere introduces new orchard tractor

The John Deere 5105ML Tractor, with its low profile, is designed for use in fruit and nut orchards with low-hanging tree limbs.

John Deere of Lenexa, Kan., has unveiled the low-profile, 105-horsepower 5105ML Tractor for fruit and nut producers.

At 7,700 pounds, it has the stability to pull large implements, according to a news release. It's also compatible with the John Deere 553 or 563 Loader.

The tractor comes with a four-cylinder PowerTech diesel engine that produces 105 engine hp or 90 PTO hp.

Options include a 12/F.4R SyncShuttle Plus transmission or a 16F/16R PowrReverser transmission with left-hand electro-hydraulic reverser.

The tractor also comes with optional two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
