Wireless moisture, temperature monitor
Environmental Sensors Inc., of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, introduced its next generation of Gro·Point™ Wireless.
The system provides real-time moisture and temperature monitoring using Web-based software, according to a company news release. The system also is designed to send alerts via e-mail if temperatures drop to critical levels or water exceeds user-defined thresholds.
ESI's 900 MHz radios offer a range of up to 3 miles line of sight transmission. A cell phone modem add-on can relay information over the Internet from anywhere.
