Blue Diamond almonds names new chief

Blue Diamond Growers, a Sacramento, Calif.-based cooperative that is the nation's largest processor of almonds, named Mark Jansen as its new leader.

Jansen, who most recentlly headed Schwan's Food Service Inc., will succeed Doug Youngdhal, who will retire in December.
